TOGETHER WITH THE IFS FOUNDATION, WE HELP IMPROVE ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER IN PUTTALAM, SRI LANKA

The Story
Our connection to Sri Lanka is something we have in common and share with IFS. IFS through the IFS Foundationworks in partnership with Sri Lankan communities to alleviate poverty in the country.
The IFS Foundation believes that education is one of the key drivers to alleviating poverty as it aims to promote positive change and long-term sustainability. This belief strongly aligns with our own CSR initiatives: to support social causes that create meaningful impact in communities.
To achieve this, the IFS Foundation is taking an integrated approach, investing in projects that improve sanitation, access to fresh water, healthcare, and employment opportunities, alongside building education infrastructure.
The IFS Foundation is looking to improve access to clean water in the area through the installation of tube wells and water purification systems.
RIGSERV initiated a fund raising activity that raised Us$15,000 to help build tube wells and a water treatment plant that will provide access to clean water to at least 100 residents in the local community.
Together, we can make a difference.
