DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain


REQUIREMENTS

– Valid passport/You must be authorized to work in the US.

– >3 years materials management experience.

– ERP and MS Office intermediate skills.


BASIC FUNCTION:

– Coordinate the rig’s materials requisitions, controls the warehouse, physical counting, and maintain the warehouse inventory levels within established guidelines.

– Use the computerized system to maintain an accurate inventory of all materials stored on the rig.

– Perform cyclical or physical inventory of stock and maintain the physical inventory in the warehouse.


MAJOR DUTIES

– Ensure that parts are not stored, moved, shipped, consumed, or returned without being recorded in the Company inventory system.

– Coordinate/lead meetings to review inventory settings at a minimum before rig moves, or when a rigs operations change significantly.

– Shared responsibility with the service buyer to ensure rental equipment is returned in a timely manner to the vendor from a logistic standpoint.

– Maintain adequate stock levels of equipment spares and consumables to facilitate the continuous operation of the unit.

– Prepare accurate and complete cargo manifests for all equipment dispatched from the rig either by sea or by air.

– Assist department heads in establishing a realistic minimum/maximum warehouse stock of all shut-down or critical items.

– Direct contact with the rigs to provide operational support regarding expected shipments and arrival dates and any other logistical needs.

– Ensure that all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes are correctly labelled and packaged prior to shipment ashore.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: College Degree in Supply Chain/Engineering/System/Accounting/Business
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of Management experience
REPORTS TO: Partner
BASIC FUNCTION:
Lead the activities of the outsourced catalog function. Manage the day-to-day activities involved with maintaining, updating, and processing catalog requests, while continuously improving the function of the catalog system to provide better customer service to the field. Coordination with the clients and catalog coordinators to ensure proper training and education is available in regards to catalog functionality.

 

MAJOR DUTIES

1. Design and facilitate improvements to the RigServ Databases and end-user experience of those databases.

2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Catalog Coordinators and ensure requests from the clients are addressed accurately and timely.

3. Coordinate with clients to ensure the catalog supports other functions needs and objectives.

4. Identify and assess both internal and external solutions to improve catalog function to allow for increased system automation & improved ordering efficiency.

5. Design and develop a new catalog structure that is user-friendly and intuitive.

6. Ensure Supply Chain systems accurately record financial data and that Finance accurately records an obsolescence provision for inventory.

7. Develop structure to support ad hoc reports as requested by Supply Chain Management, field operations, and other corporate departments.

8. Manage Catalog personnel to ensure career development needs are met and resources are available to support company needs as related to catalog.

9. Assist in the review of the standard benchmarks and formats for tracking performance.

10. Ensures that all global reporting guidelines are understood and adhered to by all users and all data entry protocols are followed.

11. Develop procedures s to inform catalog coordinators of new processes and/or changes to existing processes.

12. Develop future vision for Catalog and work toward implementation.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Personnel management and development skills.

Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products. Microsoft Access a plus.

Strong presentation and reporting skills.

Good communications skills with the ability to manage change across an international company.

Understanding of process improvement, process management, and quality assurance.

Must contain the following characteristics:
